Vibe Coding for Bankers is a personal project operated by Ben Udell. It exists to share software built with AI and to help bankers learn to build their own. This policy explains what data the site collects and how it is handled.
The short version: This site collects anonymous usage analytics, plus whatever you voluntarily type into the newsletter form. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. Email me at ben@udellconsulting.com and I will delete your information.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard web analytics data, including:
- Pages visited and time spent on them
- Approximate geographic location (city or region level, derived from IP address)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- How you arrived at the site (search engine, direct link, referral)
This data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out entirely using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using any standard ad or tracking blocker.
Information you provide
The newsletter signup form is the only place this site asks for personal information. If you choose to submit it, the form collects your first name, last name, organization, job title, and email address.
That information is stored in a private Google Sheet and used for one purpose: to send you occasional updates about new tools, articles, and AI insights — roughly once or twice a month. Submitting the form is entirely optional, and every tool on this site works without it.
What is never done with your data
- It is never sold, rented, or traded
- It is never shared with advertisers or data brokers
- It is never used for automated decision-making or profiling
- No payment information is collected anywhere on this site
Third-party tools and links
Many of the projects listed on this site are hosted on external platforms such as Lovable, Netlify, and Railway. When you click through to one of those tools, you leave this site and are subject to that platform's own privacy practices. Those tools are provided free as demonstrations, and any data you enter into them is governed by the host platform, not by this policy.
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may collect standard server log data such as IP addresses as described in GitHub's privacy statement.
Cookies
The only cookies set by this site are those used by Google Analytics for the purposes described above. There are no advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party trackers. Blocking cookies in your browser will not prevent you from using anything on this site.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or by replying to it. To see what information is held about you, correct it, or have it permanently deleted, email ben@udellconsulting.com. Requests are handled personally and promptly — there is no ticketing system to navigate.
Children
This site is intended for banking and financial services professionals. It is not directed at children under 13, and no information is knowingly collected from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date at the top. Material changes affecting how your information is used will also be noted to newsletter subscribers.
